Usually, I’m not one for resolutions. However, after the year we had in 2021, I decided that I wanted to set some goals for myself to see if I can personally make 2022 the best year yet. One of those goals was to create and stay consistent in blogging, so I would say I already accomplished one 🙂
For my first task of the new year, I created a 2022 vision board. This is to help me remind myself of the goals I am striving towards. I’ll insert the vision board here:

I’m super proud of how this turned out, and I think it encompasses basically everything I want to achieve. Here’s how to make one!
First, go to Pinterest and save a bunch of pictures to a new board labeled “2022”. If you need some ideas of what you want to include, here’s my Pinterest. I would recommend saving at least 30 pictures. You’re going to save all of the images that you want in your vision board to your desktop for easy access.
Here are a few ideas for what to search for specific categories:
- self
- self care
- face masks
- dream body
- that girl
- style
- fashion aesthetic
- street style
- goals
- travel aesthetic
- dark academia aesthetic
- piercings
- rich aesthetic
- journaling aesthetic
- *insert career goal here* aesthetic
- for me I said “med school aesthetic”
- filler images
- books
- flower shop
- new york aesthetic
- motivational quotes
Then you’re going to open up Canva. I absolutely LOVE this app for making collages! It’s so easy to use, and completely free. After you go to Canva, click “create a design” and click “custom size”. You can use any dimensions you want, but I specifically created this vision board for my Notion, so I used 1500 W x 500 H.
Now you’re going to upload all of the pictures you selected into Canva. If you have a Mac, then it’s super easy to just select them from your desktop and drop them into Canva.
All there’s left to do is to layer your pictures in any way you want! This whole process probably took me about 45 minutes, and it’s honestly so satisfying to layer and create your own vision board!!
Cheers to the new year! We’re going to achieve all of our goals in 2022 🙂
